ARTIST'S STATMENT

Nick Meister is an artist living in Iowa City with his wife Emily and two children, Julian and Lucian. He has studied art for over twenty years and attended several colleges including the University of Iowa. Nick works in many different mediums including: oil, acrylic, watercolor, charcoal, ink, pencil, silk screening, stamping, photography, and music.

Nick has also created several business logos, posters, and ad campaigns. 

Nick Meister has been professionally painting for more than 20 years. A rich and diverse body of work has been created by switching between mediums. His themes are organic and raw, but each medium has been executed with separate intentions. Striving to paint everyday has increased the diversity of his collection and kept his next project a constant goal. Currently, he is working on community outreach with donations and a mural.
