Kara Schlabaugh is an artist from Kalona, Iowa, who received a degree in art from Drake University. Kara's well defined sense of color and texture, mixed with her interests in graphic design, painting, and textured wood allow her to continuously produce new work. Kara grew up in a creative family, Schlabaugh & Sons, clockmakers (also from Kalona, Iowa), who sell their work nationally.
